My name is Marian
Marian is the owner of Maid Marian Tattoo Studio, established in 2023. Marian has previously trained and worked with Arti Tattoo Mallow and Carrigaline Cork.
About Me
Marian specialises in fineline, ornamental, blackwork, gothic and anime style tattoos but is happy to discuss any tattoo ideas you ay have.
Originally a mixed media artist Marian studied at Limerick School of Art and Design. Graduating with a BA (hons.) in Fine Art printmaking and a MA by Research through Art Practice. Her artwork has received the Locating the Gothic Legacy Award and The Curators Choice Drawing Award.
Exhibiting both nationally and internationally since 2015, her work has been included in group shows in Brazil, Japan, Germany and the USA.
Marians tattoo style is strongly influenced by her studies in Irish folklore superstition and oral storytelling. Featuring Irish flora and fauna which have rich links to Irish cautionary tales , within her designs.
